where do i start with this one,the saturno part of three hotels in the same complex was dire. the rooms were tiny very noisey and stank.we had a room with partition door in the middle which meant you could hear everything in the room next door right down to the breaking wind.we also had noisey neighbours who couldnt give a monkeys.you know who you are room 908!!!The thing that annoys me most is the attitude of selfish people and yobs, and there were plenty of them there.kids were chucking cones down the stairwell from the 10th floor.the beer was watered down,but food was good and the staff were nice. 20mins walk from alcudia but there was a bus.beach is nice.i can definatley say i wont be going again.

Great resort for familys lots going on day and night for all ages. great value for money food was nice plenty to choose from,beer was ok rooms were clean (thats the main thing). staff were friendly and always happy to help. 1 thing that could of been better was the LIFTS!!!! we stayed in Saturno there were 3 LIFTS and only 6people fitted in come on there must of been about 800 people stayin in this 1 hotel so its a pain waiting for the lift not bad if you are on a low floor but we was on the 8th. Oh and take your alam clock if you want a sunbed!!! set it for 07.00 at the latest!!!! would i go again??? prob would

Firstly we stayed at this resort in August which we new would be busy.We had read some bad reviews on the Jupiter Hotel but went with an open mind. Upon arrival at the hotel a lady was complaining to reception regarding an incident with her child who had recieved 6 stiches in his head due to someone bashing him in a wall, she advised us to watch our belongings because there were thieves about, so we got a safety deposit box which cost 16 euros per week.
We arrived in our hotel room at 10pm got something to eat and went to bed slept for literally 30 mins before the slamming of doors and screaming kids along with foul mouthed adults were up and down the corridor, we just assumed that new people like ourselves were arriving and finally got to sleep about 2pm. How wrong we were this happened every night and we had about 5 hours sleep each night. On the floor above us the police were called due to someone fighting (not over a towel on a sunbed!!)
On our first morning we were awoken by slamming and screaming at about 7am had a shower etc. and went down to the sunbeds, there were 2 left, the sunbeds surrounding the Jupiter pool are welded down with a metal bar so you cant move them on the front row, then the rest of the sunbeds are chained and locked up until 8am, people go down and put towels on the floor where they are going to put the sunbeds once they are unlocked where its a mad scrabble with everyone walking around like rows of ants with sunbeds on their heads, we wanted a sunbed at the front so we could keep an eye on our children in the water so for the rest of the holiday we had no choice but to go down at 7am to reserve our beds.
We asked for a low floor and stayed in room 110 overlooking the lake or Swamp and the Saturno pool. We had no privacy as both double beds are in the same room, and there is only one wardrobe for everyones clothes,the bathroom was in desperate need of some cilit bang and the towels needed some glo white. In this complex there are 3 hotels Jupiter, Marte & Saturno they are 9 storeys high and have 60 rooms on each floor so this approx. made 4000 guests, so you can imagine what the pools were like.
On a brighter note and i am struggling to find one,the staff were always freindly, the First Choice reps (Mark & Becky) were lovely, the maid came in to clean everyday you put your towels in the bath if you want clean ones and a please change linen sign (provided)on your bed if you want it changing, the maid came in everyday and we stayed for 7 nights (thank god it wasnt 14) The restaurant is huge, and is more than capable of catering for its guests we never had to queue, you can eat in any of the 3 hotels there is a menu put up at each one in the afternoon so if you dont like what they do at one you can go and check another menu. Breakfast is 8am - 10am, snacks are served from 10am - 6pm at lunch you can use the snack bar in reception or the restaurant 12 - 3pm, dinner is 6pm - 9pm, then snacks 9pm - 12midnight,the bar is very quick at serving. Kids can have slush or a tub of strawberry/vanilla icecream, or help themselves to water, pop etc.
The entertainment starts at 8pm with no First Choice entertainment which we assumed it would be,it is on site spanish reps who do mini disco, bingo, then a professional show which we didnt think catered for our kids age, i.e. Elvis, Bee Gees, Abba by Spanish,so we found alternative things to do. There are courtesy buses which take you to the beach or Port but it is only 15 mins walk away. The beach is lovely with very soft sand the beds are approx. 3.50 euros each with an umbrella, the port is stunning with every shop you can think little bars with tables and chairs in the cobbled streets where you can watch the world go by.
We really arent moaners last year we stayed at Papantnonia, Protaras, Cyprus with First Choice and Kiotari Bay in Rhodes the year before and they were fantastic. But wouldnt go back to Jupiter because everyone really is on another planet.
If you think you can cope with the above, good luck have a nice time and dont forget at night time you will be fine as long as you have more than 10 vodkas and take your earplugs and sleeping pills.

We had really awful flight times with Cosmos - So arrived at the hotel (We were allocated the Jupiter Hotel) at 0400hrs with 2 very tired children.
Check in to the hotel was fairly quick - not very many of us) but you do have to fill out a Spanish Authorities form on arrival adding more time to your check in.
There are plenty of lifts for your luggage including a really large one - but these are operated by your room key and can be really temperamental!! (Sometimes you had to spend ages putting your card in and out to call the lift - very frustrating)
The room was on the first floor (fantastic - no more lifts!!) and was very clean overall - the toilet was a bit scruffy but aren't they all! The maids came in every day and were excellent & pleaseant even folding clothes and towels for you - clean towels appeared if you left your wet ones in the bath!
As the hotel is linked to 2 others on site the area is massive - I counted approx. 7 swimming pools great for the kids - The one shallow pool outside the Saturno was fantastic for the kids as it had a waterfall & slides in it.
Sunbeds - as in every other resort in the world - are difficult to come by. But if you have smaller children the pool in the Children's Village at the rear of the complex always had sunbeds no matter what time you went up and a little bar next to it for those important ice-creams and slushes!!
The entertainment was ok - My kids adored High School Musical - which was done by some of the Reps and teenagers on site - a good hours peace and quiet! We usually ended up going over the road to the small row of pubs for the quiz & karaoke
The Club Mac childrens entertainer's were fantastic and the kids enjoyed a Circus Day - hair sprayed into great styles & colours, faces painted, dressing up & party games. Also treasure hunts - dressed as pirates etc - fantastic!!
Cosmos Childrens Reps are a No-No!! - Our son decided that this year he would like to go to the Children's club and when we went up to book him in the kids were all in the Club room - unnaturally quiet for 5-9yrs old and the Reps were just chatting to one another. Weird! Also the last 30mins of the kids time at the Club was spent on the Hotel stairs awaiting their parents!
We walked into the Old Town Alcudia (approx. 30mins) Puerto Alcudia (15mins) Alcudia resort (15mins past lots of waterways with fountains) and the beach (10mins)- beautiful beach.
We took day trips to Marineland, The House of Katmandu (new this year) and Fantasia - a 54 hole mini-golf set around waterfalls, lakes and greenery - This was great fun and took the 4 of us about 31/2 hrs to get round it all. Best to go in the morning as the afternoon gets really busy and this is beautiful to play on at night as it is all lit up (have been before on previous trips to Majorca)
All in all a great holiday and a nice resort - I wouldn't come back to Alcudia as many of the main attractions are in the South of the island - so back to Palma Nova/ Magaluf for us the next time but would recommend this hotel to families who like being a good walk away from the resort centers.
Although you wouldn't get peace and quiet here - it is a very noisy hotel & complex!!

Just come back from a 10 day break at the Jupiter. We have all been to Alcudia before and wanted to come back as the place is beautiful.
On our arrival at the Hotel Jupiter at aroun 9pm on the Sat night we were given a room on the 9th floor. I thought this was a bit odd as when i had booked the holiday i specifically asked for a low ground floor, pool view and a family room. On arriving at the room it was on the 9th floor overlooking derelict land and was a double room. I went straight back to reception where she informed me only a double room had been booked but that she could move us to the 3rd floor which we gladly accepted and which had a pool view.
My husband was starving and we were advised the only thing open was the "Mac Bar" which was just like a self service McDonalds. I just had chips which were freshly cooked and nice and my husband had a chicken burger which was very dry. We then went to sit at the Marte Bar and my first impression of it was "oh my god its Butlins" another couple from Scotland agreed with me.
On our first full day (Sunday) we got up and went down to one of the 7 pools to get sunbeds (be warned if you are not down the pool by 6:30 a.m. you have no chance of a sunlounger!!!).
The food in the Jupiter was excellent and from speaking with people in the Marte and Saturno their food was as well. Morning noon and night they had a different variety of meats/fish something to suit all diets and kids.
All three of the hotels are very clean and are being cleaned all day long. Even outside around the complex everything is clean.
The Club Mac Reps are brilliant - playing games in the pool and dancing with the children in the pool. I must say their music got a bit monotanous by the 10th day!
The entertainment at night is okay we watched a few good shows.
Overall the Jupiter, Marte and Saturno are great hotels. I would not specifically pay another visit to the Hotel as there were far too many people for my liking. For kids its a complete haven.

Where do you start,we arrived after waiting two hours for our baggage to arrive with the other three flights which all came on to the same carrousell.Only to be told that we where not booked into the jupiter but one of the sister hotels the saturno.So we had to trek across the crowded complex with all our suitcases dodging the bar queues,arriving at the saturno reception we was told our room was on the tenth floor.
To which we was horrified by, as we have two young children eight and three we asked if there was any lower floored rooms available as we has requested this at time of booking.
We where told in a very abrupt manner that they was fully booked and that was all they had so like it or lump it.We dicided to try and make the best out of a terrible start and so went to the lifts and waited and waited and waited some more and finally we got a lift.
On arriving on the tenth floor we was to say the least gob smacked at how low the hand rail was around the landing,it wasn't even a meter high and when you looked over it was a straight drop ten floors down.I'm not scared of heights but wow that is dangerous.On to the rooms we was shown in the travel agents this lovely room with two queen size beds and a seperate bedroom for the children with bunk beds tv and playstation (for a local fee)which we thought was great.
To our shock we was confronted by this pokey little room with two double beds.We searched the room for the childrens room, which we thought we had found behind a set of doors but on inspection realised that this room was the room next door and was not ours after all.
I then plucked up the courage to venture out on to the postage stamp of a balcony to admire the view ,it was like looking at ants around the pool thats how high up it was.
At this point our polite british manner was starting to wear thin so we went back and demanded what we had booked ie the family room and low floor only to be told by yet another very rude spanish receptionist that we hadn't booked a family room and they had offerd us a lower floor but we had refused it which was a total lie.
It is the worst holiday we have ever experience by far,We have been on alot of holiday over the last 10 years, let's just say never never ever again. The only two plus point was we meet some lovely families, who shared the same views as we did.The weather was fantastic.
All we heard from our room were the very large air conditioning units in the gardens at the back of the hotels, very noisey.
Thank god it was only for one week.The food in the restaurant was probably the best point of the holiday.I would rate the Hotels etc as three star very basic.When we first arrived we saw a very young boy about 10 years old smoking swearing, it was disgusting i would never in a million years take my children any where like this again.

Returned 24 July after a one week all inclusive stay in the Jupiter - 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 4 y/o). On arrival, we waited over 2 hrs for our room to be made ready, and were eventually shown to a very small, very basic room which bore little relation to the one described on our booking form - no beds for our kids, for instance.
It also directly overlooked the hotel's refuse disposal area, so all week we had a great view from our balcony of the skips, bins and rubbish bags. These were collected with efficiency at 2.30 am every morning by a large and noisy refuse wagon, which we appreciated greatly.
As an additional treat, when switched on, the air con filled the room with the fragrant aroma of sewage. When we asked for the room we'd actually booked, we were told that the hotel had significantly overbooked, and we'd have to take what we were given. Lots of other people who'd arrived with us were in the same situation and the most popular activity for the following few hours was the complaints queue. Some unfortunate later arrivals were even shunted off to other hotels and self-catering apartments in the area, as there was no room for them.
The same night, all the power on the complex went off midway through the evening meal, which put paid to hot food and cold drinks, made negotiating the public toilet facilities a novel and challenging experience, and curtailed the evening's entertainment. Many guests, including us, went out to eat, and bought cold drinks from the local Spar - not something you expect to do on an all-inclusive holiday.
On the following day we returned to our room after a day at the beach to find that the aged toilet cistern had committed suicide, and was in the process of flooding the bathroom.
I could go on, but you're probably getting the picture by now....
On the plus side, the food in the restaurants was very good, with an excellent range of choices. The hotel staff were, without exception, friendly, tolerant and hard-working, and deserve to be paid at least three times as much as they probably get. There is also an excellent beach nearby if you want to get away from the hordes around the hotel pools, with a free half-hourly return bus service from the hotel. Local taxis are cheap and plentiful.
However, the main down side is the excessive number of guests. We estimated that there were at least 3000 people on the complex while we were there, most of whom were families with young to teenage kids.
The other guests at the hotel complex were a colourful bunch - although overwhelmingly (99%+) white British. Tattoos appeared to be compulsory for both genders (our favourite was one of the family pit bull, Satan, sported by the proud owner), as did the wearing of replica football shirts, shaven heads, beer bellies and second degree burns. The ability to consume alcohol all day and night, and to intersperse meals with 'snacks' of burgers and chips, hot dogs, etc also seemed to be desirable.
If you speak Spanish to the (mostly Spanish, though some Eastern European) hotel staff, be prepared for hostile glances, sneers and expressions of contempt from some of the other guests. And never, ever read a book in a public area...
As for us, this was our first all-inclusive, which has its advantages, but will definitely be our last ever visit to the Club Mac complex in Alcudia. We're currently pursuing Cosmos for compensation.
Summary: Avoid at all costs - except if you have a family pit bull

this is my second time in Alcudia and I love the place. Please go and see the beach, the best in Spain.
After reading reviews I was quite nervous about going here but I have to say me and me boyfriend had an absolutely excellent time. I don't mean to put down anyone that has left negative reviews but please get a grip of yourselves! I guarentee I've stayed in worse. Some people will complain about anything, the holiday is what you make it.
Anyway, got to the hotel about 9pm on Sat night and were allocated to the Saturno. Went up to our room and we were quite happy with it. the balcony could have been bigger and thats my only complaint. We had adiquate space to hang up all our clothes and managed to put our suitcases in the back of the wardrobe. Our room was cleaned every day, we got new towels if we left the used ones in the bath.
The food, especially breakfast was excellent. If you don't fancy anything at lunch or dinner you can go to the main bit in the Jupiter and they serve hotdogs, hamburgers or cheese/ham rolls which was fine for me because I can be a bit fussy! The tea and coffee isn't the best but then you can't have everything!
There are a couple of British bars across the road which serve great food and bit of light entertainment. We mainly went to the Britannia and the people are absolutely lovely there. Great food too at very good prices.
Its about 15 min walk to the beach and 15 walk to the main bar bit of Alcudia which was fine for us. Plenty to do and see. We went to the caves for a day out which is a must, the tour quide was fantastic and we had a thouroughly great time. also went to see Pirates which was fantastic. Only let down was going to Western Water Park in Magaluf. I've been there before so new what to expect. Please don't book this through cosmos as you get picked up at 08.30 and don't get to the park till after 11am. Then you get picked up to go home at 4pm. Simply isn't enough time to go on all the shoots you want. I could have easily stayed another 2 hours.
I never saw any out of order British louts in Alcudia at all, especially not at the hotel. Fair enough there are a lot of people enjoying there holiday, IS THAT NOT WHAT YOUR ON HOLIDAY TO DO??! the hotels are very clean, the bits outside could maybe be sweeped more but what can you do about it if its a bit windy, you put an empty cup down and it blows away?! Seriously some people are so stuck up, if they've got something to complain about go and spend more money on a holiday, get the fist class treatment you want and stop spoiling everyone elses fun.
You will love this place.

just came back [july] there's no one more fussy than me and my wife we were quite impressed with the complex yes there are some noisey kids as we were when we were young, room clean and tidy food plenty of choice one fault i wish the british would put there rubbish in the bins as there where plenty provided around the pool.

We have just returned from staying at the Jupiter hotel and werent put off by the bad reviews as a holiday is what you make it, and we werent disappointed by this complex.
The rooms are quite small but with 2 huge queen size beds, a cot, two big suitcases (that didnt fit under bed) and a buggy we didnt expect much room. But the rooms are there for getting changed in and sleeping so who cares! We had a room the other side of the pool view and quite liked this as the sun was beating in to our balcony all afternoon so when the kids were tired we just sat on balcony topping up the tans. Husband hired the tv for 2 days as he wanted to watch the grand prix at a cost of 3euros per day which also kept the kids amused while we got ready to go out.
The food in this hotel was superb, plenty of choice for everyone. The salad bars are delicious too especially the coleslaw!! It can get quite busy and we had to queue on a few occasions but not for long.
There are 7 lifts which all worked when we were there but again can get busy at peak times but nothing to major.
There is a snack bar that served chips, burgers, salads near the lake, the burgers were always cold but edible and none of us suffered any upset stomachs.
There is a playpark for the kids at the far end of the lakes where we always sunbathed near the baby pool as the main pools were very very busy , with people reserving beds as early as 6am!!!! Who said it was only the germans that did this!! It was less crowded and when the kids were tired of paddling we just walked over to the park. There are a lot of wasps here but we never got stung although my 4 year old was pretty scared of them. My husband and me also got a few little bite, dont know if it was the mossies at night but I wondered if there were biting insects in the sand at the parks??
We never saw any shows as again very crowded and when your kids just want to run around and not sit on seats there wasnt any room for them to do this. We just sat inside at one of the bar areas, no entertainment but watching your kids paly with new friends was entertaining enough.!
This was our first all inclusive holiday and will be going on these types of holidays from now on. Great to just walk up and get juices, water, food without much queues and not having to pay!
I wouldnt go back to this resort but it was a good enough place for a week, I would have started to get bored if it had been 2 weeks. And also I like going to different places so dont be put off by the bad reviews and go enjoy yourselves!!

we have just returned from a weeks holiday at the jupiter/saturno complex. We read the reviews of these hotels after booking the holiday. After reading the mixed the reviews we decided to wait until we had visited before making judgement.
So here is our opinion.
The service and the food in the restaurants was of a good standard, there is plenty of choice and despite being very busy we always found a table.
The rooms were OK, enough room for 2 people. The rooms were cleaned daily and the towels and bedding changed daily if you wanted.
There were some nice families holidaying there also.
Well i'm afraid that's it for the plus points.
The negative points, well where to start!
1. If you have an early flight don't be surprised if when you arrive your room is not ready, you will have to sit and wait for the previous guests to check out and the room to be cleaned.
2. Whilst sat waiting in the reception area the noise hits you and reality dawns that you have just been dropped off at a chav's youth club.
3. Finally the room is ready after 3 visits to reception and a strong word with the reception staff.
4. Up to our room, open the door wow the smell! just like a pub old stale tobacco, the bedding, curtains everything.
5. Down to the pool plenty of sunbeds around the pool great!If you don't want to move them as most are chained and padlocked to a metal pole and can't be moved. Is this to stop them being thrown into the pool or stolen???
5. All inclusive- food and drink 24 hours a day.
It appears that some people think this a target set for them to meet.Lager for breakfast, dinner and Tea. Burgers and fries too if you want, some even filled their handbags with several portions of burgers etc obviously to save leaving the room in the night to ensure they could continue to eat.
6.A large number of guests would be very suited as guests on the Jeremy Kyle Show, enough said.
We are not snobs, we too like a drink and decent food and have 2 teenagers.This hotel is rated by First choice and Cosmos as 3 star plus clearly it should only rate 3 star at most. It is a shame because the actual hotel would be good, if it wasn't for the large number of Chav's holidaying there.

This was our second stay at Jupiter, and I have to say it will be our last. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and extremely nice people. The down side to this place is the amount of guests and how particularly noisy and selfish so many of them are.
I could not belive it seeing people placing sun loungers around the pools as early as 4.30am!This made it difficult to get round there, however the beach is not far away and was much more pleasant, and although busy still had a much better atmosphere than around the hotel pools.
The food at the hotel was plentiful in supply, with round the clock snacks, and 3 meals daily. Food was ok, but at times rather salty and quite repetetive. This meant we ate out on several occaisions, which added to an already costly holiday. Drinks too were plentiful, although if you are a wine drinker you will find much better wine at local bars and supermarkets.
We found the hotel to be very clean and staff were working throughout the night to maintain the cleanliness, but many guests just dropped their litter where ever they felt like.
Alcudia itself is a lovely place and we will be visiting again. At night the port has a fabulous atmosphere with a wide range of restaurants and cafes. I would recommend San Marcos which is alongside the harbour on the pier/jetty. Plenty of duty free bargains around the port too with several perfume, drink and cigarette outlets around. Tuesdays and Sundays are market days in the Old Town of Alcudia and it is well worth a visit, but be prepared to barter, particularly with the African traders.... they love it!!
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, but would look to stay in other accomodation when we return there.

the hotel rooms were cleaned every day. the staff were very freindly. evening meals were excellent but if u like burgers, hot dogs, chips, jacket potatoes you were ok at lunch time! i would recommed the beach because its nice and clean and warmer than the hotel pools, its about 10mins walk from the hotel. its ideal for familys with young children.

the hotel is cool the pool is ace but watch out for the pervy ppl tryin to pull ur bikini top of! (u no who u r)
the room was ok didnt spend much time in it! anyone over the age of bnout 12 can get alcohol its great the bar staf dont care.
so any teenagers going there just make friends with ppl and have fun! avoid the teens club thing its for snobby prim and proper kids

We have just returned from our trip to the Jupiter Saturno and what a great hotel. There is plenty for the kids to do during the day. The entertainment during the evening varies from professional shows to the entertainment team putting on a performance. There are 2 main areas for entertainment one is the big circus stage where the family entertainment takes place, the kids disco, bingo (for vast amounts of money 750 euros+)followed by a show at 10pm. Over by the Saturno is a smaller stage where they had bands, quizzes etc.
The food is excellent a great choice they also have a grill in the middle of the resturant where you can watch them cook. For those who have babies you can hire a steam steriliser for 15 euros and a kettle as well for 12 euros. Out of the main reception if you turn left to the top of the road then right there is a Caprabo supermarket which has nappies (spanish and huggies) wipes and a good choice of baby food although it is spanish. The only thing I didn't see is branded baby as per home. The Spar is the other way ie left at the top of the road but is more expensive. We used Font Vella bottled water 1.75 euros for 5 litres and boiled it for the baby.
We didn't have any problems getting a sunbed round the pool even if we turned up at 11am. If you are going have a great time. The only slight problem is the new form we have to fill in for the spanish authorities which is done at the hotel which does hold up the queue a bit. By the way we had a room with 2 double beds and a cot, with a buggy and 2 suitcases there wan't a huge amount of room but it's perfectly manageable.

Just returned from a last minute weeks break on this three hotel complex. We were in the hotel saturno but you can use any of the hotels facilities eg pools, restaurants etc. Brilliant complex excellent for small children entertaiment just beginning for teenagers. Plenty of sunloungers round all the pools and grassed areas even though complex really getting busy.Unless you are really really fussy, food choice very good, small burger hut by evening entertaiment area where you could get chips, wedges, chicken nuggets, burgers etc which was excellent. Most areas clean and tidy pity people dont put their own rubbish in the bins provided and teach their kids too as that would help! Rooms small bit dated but again clean with fresh towels and sheets when requested.
Small water park right outside hotel and regular free bus to beach.Only thing I would say to people is to take plenty of mozzie spray for when watching the evening entertainment as it is outside and the bu**ers do bite! Would have no hesitation in returning to this complex or recommending it.

stayed at hotel jupiter this year the rooms was very clean (with air con as well) ,the food was fantastic, a great selection the snacks [are better this year].The hotel has had a partial improvement more pools and new toilets . new seating area ,Entertainers are a great team and make you welcome you must join in activities ie,rifle shooting,archery,crossbow,water polo, pool,The night time entertainment is also good , the beach is just 20 mins away if you cross down side of spar to the water fountains turn right then cross over road the beach isnt far,also if you love a bargain go to the market its on a sunday a nice walk better than getting on bus [too crowded]only half hour walk.Alcudia is a lovely place cant wait to return again well done MAC HOTELS .

When we arrived we got a warm welcome, although the queue to the reception was rediculous, and there english very basic, the staff had a smile on there face and made us very welcome. The rooms were small, but very clean and neat. The wardbrobe didnt fit all of our clothes in, as we were in a room for 4, so 2 of us had to leave our clothes in the suitcase. The food was nice, lots of meats to choose from. The breakfasts had a good choice to choose from. Although lunch and dinner had pretty much the same choice, we found a way to have different foods. The entertainment was good, there was something different on everynight and kept the spirits high. although the beer was abit bland, the spirits they had were nice.
The staff were lovely, but staff at the bar did seem quite rude, and didnt seem to want to be there.
The pools were clean, but were freezing, although the weather sometimes warmed them up, mostly they were cold. You could always get a sun bed, but ones that were in the shade, or ones that were furthest away from the bar and the pool.
The accommodation was beautiful, and the beach was spectacular. The town of alcudia was lovely, although i got quite fed up of all the men on the stalls begging you to by stuff that you just didn't want.
We met some nice people there and we had a great time, although the hotel might need improving in some ways we did have a good holiday!
Would we go back; Definitely!

Just had a fab week!
Food good and plenty to choose from.
Having 2 young Girls we found the entertainment sound and I am still singing the club mac song as we have the CD.
Weather good all week, beach a good 15 mins walk but you can use bus.
Rooms kept clean and new towels and bedding twice.
Would I go back yes,although I would like to see more of resort.
Only down side very small amount of families(1 actually) falling out every night with each other and swearing like troopers, common as muck!
so if you see any of these sit away from them.
No problem with sun beds lots of kids with water guns but its a family hotel!
As we only paid £689 for the week we had a great time.

This was our 1st holiday abroad with the boys and were quite anxious as to whether we had picked a good hotel after reading some of the reviews:
Our conclusion is : WHAT A BRILLIANT HOLIDAY !!
The hotels are lovely, we stayed in the Jupiter but ate each evening at the Marte as is seemed to be abit more smarter.
Our plan was for the children to attend the kids club each day but with so much else to do they didn't get the chance!
The swimming pools kept them busy from 10.00am till 6.00pm so many people to play and have fun with - inflatables galore with everyone sharing !!
The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The restaurants, surrounding areas and rooms were kept clean and tidy, club reps and shows were very entertaining and fun to watch.
The food was gorgeous with plenty to choose from including a Roast Beef dinner better than in England !!! With very little queues.
The show 'Pirates' is a must see !!!!!

I was very concerned about the reviews I had read but I am pleased to say we had a great holidays. The rooms were very basic and small but I didn't spend much time in them and they were clean! fresh bedding and towels on a regular basis. The complex is very big with alot to do, several swimming pools and lots of other activities - I don't think your kids could get bored - there are the kids clubs, pedal boats, mini golf, a park. Evening Entertainment was also good, mini disco followed by an act. If you didn't want the min disco, like my Dad didn't, he went to watch the other entertainment act (singers etc) which were more aimed at adults.
The worst thing is the Mossies', they will bite you - you need the spray as the evening entertainment is outside, by a lake.
Food was very varied, you won't go hungry and snacks avialable all day. We went early season and it was nice and relaxed, busy but not crowded, plenty of sun beds and plenty of places to escape too if you wanted quiet time, but I'm not sure what it will be like in high season!!!!
A fun holiday which we all enhoyed and I would go back again.

After reading reviews of this hotel I was slightly concerned but decided we would make our own minds up. I have to say we found no problems whatsoever.
The complex is very big with 3 hotels using all the same facilities, however there was always lots of space in the pool areas and bar and restaurants. There was piles of sunbeds around the pools that were always available at any time of day, I never saw anyone putting towels down early. The hotel and pool areas were kept extremely clean by the hard working staff and the restaurant was spotless. The room we had had got 2 king size beds, a wardrobe and shelf unit and there was penty of space for all of our clothes. The room was cleaned every day and if you put dirty towels in the bath they will be changed too. We were there for a week and our sheets were changed in the middle of the holiday.
The food in the restaurant is plentyful and there is lots and lots of choice. Breakfast is served 8-10 am, lunch 12-3pm, dinner 6-9pm and supper 10pm-12am. There are also snacks all day such as burgers,chips,kebab,hotdogs and sandwiches.The entertainment is very good, with kids and adults games etc throughout the day, and at night the showzone has top shows every night along with early kids disco and bingo. Make sure you take plenty of insect repellent though because its a haven for mosquitos.the Saturno stage has a live band every night and there is a film shown at 9pm every night in the cinema on the first floor of the jupiter. The day trips with First Choice are quite expensive but there is a lady who is a rep for a company called Alcances who is in the hotel twice a day at 12pm and 4pm. The trips she has on offer are just as good but cheaper and her name is Jan. We booked a day trpi to Palma city and it was fab.The boat trips are exellent but make sure you use loads of suncream because its easier to burn out at sea.
I would definatley use this hotel again.

Food in the jupiter hotel was very good plenty of choice and lots of it, The complex is kept very clean by the hard working and long suffering staff. The only thing that spoiled it was some of the "guests" shouting at each other and letting their children run riot with no regard to anybody else. Not a place to relax, take earplugs if you want any sleep at all.
Would not go back.

Just returned from a week at the Jupiter, 3rd year in a row, same week each year. When we originally went in 2005 we had already booked before we read the poor reviews on here. All the same we went open minded and found it to be pretty good value for money, hence 2 further trips.
Yes there are a lot of kids charging around the place, mine included, but then its a 3 star family orientated complex so it really shouldn't come as any great suprise!! Apart from the kids mini disco, which is over by 8:45, there is very little for the children to do at night, which is why they are running around shouting and playing etc. The noise in the corridors at night isn't good though and i think a few parents could have a bit more consideration and reign there children in a little. The 3 times i have been have all been the beginning of the season and only have full (approx 1500 people) so i hate to think what its like peak season and packed out!!
As usual the place was spotless and the staff amazing, nothing too much trouble and everything done with a smile. Food was the best its been, plenty of choice and always restocked before it ran out.
In summary its a good family orientated complex, good food, good staff, good facilites. But if your looking for a relaxing or intimate couple type holiday then i dont think this is the place to you.
Sorry to all those romantics and relaxers who have already booked but hey go with an openmind and who knows you might even enjoy it enough to go back again ;-)

when i read these reviews i was worried. but as i realised when we had our holiday every body is different. we had a lovely time.
the only things that were dissapointing was the room and the entertainment. but we dint let it spoil our holiday its what you make it. ourroom was very basic with 2 queen beds. having a 8month old i was expecting a kettle and fridge but there wasnt, though these things were on hire plus depoisit i felt that was bad but we hired the kettle as we needed that at least we just worked round the rest which werent bad.
they must of been on a tight budget with the entertainment! but it did make us laugh! remember your mozzie spray the entertainment is on top of the lake you can imagine what it was like!
the food was good they was alot of choice i thought. you wouldntgo hungry lots of fresh fruit, salad so if you was on a diet you could stay on it if you didnt want to you didnt have to. the kids were all behaving we had no running up an doww landings all night the saturday we got there was a badnight and i thought it was going to be like it all week but there was people arriving late at night and that was it no noise the rest of the time we all enjoyed ourselves. the staff were polite abd we had a cleaner in our room every day they would chage your towels whenever to all you had to do was put them in the bath so thy know. weather was excellent so that was an advadtage.
this holiday is for familys and yes we probably would go back

Unlike the comments from Sept 2006, we found the Hotel Jupiter in the early season a brilliant experience, staff very friendly, not too many kids. This could be that the kids club hadn't started in earnest yet.
The lifts are controlled by your door cards so the 7 lifts were always wprking and no one had pushed all the buttons as you could not select a floor without use of the cards.
Food in the restaurant which we used for all our meals never repeated in our week stay. we booked single rooms and found that we had a room for 4 each with 2 double beds. I thought they would be small for 4 people but more than large enough for 1. The lager on offer was San Miguel and it tasted fine unlike other peoples comments, the house spirits were on offer from 10 am till midnight when the bar shut so you had to go off camp for a late drink, we simply apllied the start earlier to get round this, which was a good idea as the seats for inside entertainment were not sufficient for all the guests so by 7.30 all tables had gone.
Would we go again, the answer is possibly yes. our only evening trip out was to Pirates at magaluf, this we would highly reccomend to all as it was superb.

This hotel is part of a large complex.Their our 3 hotels in all.The complex was very clean and staff were helpful.We went in april for two weeks over the easter the weather was rubbish.We have stayed in this resort before so we new were most things were .The hotel was clean and tidy the maids came round 3 or 4 times a week some people we spoke to said they had only been to them once a week.Their our kids clubs in this hotel.We took our daughter and son to the mini disco every nignt as they love this.Their our two sets off staff who run it one set is good the others cant wait to finish.Beware if you have teenagers their clubs dont start till may every one with teenagers were conplaining to reps as they were not told of this.Hotel does not cater for bad weather everything was outside no effort was made to put some thigs inside due to bad weather.
Lifts our run by your room cards kids just went mad in lifts day and night.Parents just gave their kids their cards to play in lifts.If you want a nice family holiday with your children dont go here. We did meet two great famlies thank god.Beach is a 30 mins walk away.Their is a hotel bus every 30 mins to take you to the beach from 10.00 to 18.00 each day.
Over all we had a good time because your holiday is what you make of it and our children our still small.We did hire a car aswell for a few days and this helps.

The hotel was very good in all aspects!The only thing that wasn't was the weather!!Rain,thunder,clouds and wind!You cant predict that though so you have to enjoy it best you can, which we did!
There was entertainment every afternoon,inside when it rained!Otherwise round by the pool.We had a daft darts competition, parrot show, shown how to make sangria then free samples all round! That was good!
Shows and entertainment every evening for kids then adults, oh and ONE game of bingo!(But good prize money!)
The location of the complex(Three hotels next door to each other),was a bit of a walk down a long straight road, to the port and beach(about 15mins.), but there was a free bus every half hour.The beach is enormous, clean, ideal for families, although there are only limited cafe's/shops on the shoreline near the harbour.
The location is very flat, ideal for strolling,especially if you go across the road from the hotel and up the little streets lined with small villa's.Then you find canals all over the place and lakes!
There are a lot of hotels and apartment blocks around so it is probably quite a bustling place in high season.
At the side of the hotel is a lake(part of the complex)all around it are activities! Large childrens playground, paddle boats, crazy golf,ball pool, motorized mopeds, trampolenes,outdoor areana, table tennis,canoes,tennis courts, large garden areas, running track etc!
Everything a family could need, and being all inclusive makes it all the better, icecream, pop, burgers, chips, sandwiches, all free until midnight!!
The staff were extremly friendly and helpful,always cleaning up around you.
The food was extremly good, hot fresh and in abundance!Something for everyone, whatever your cullinary taste!

Our party of 6 included a pensioner, 3 adults and 2 kids of 14 & 11 - and none of us would return on a freeby! We arrived on Sunday 8th April for a 2 week all inclusive break - and were back in the UK by Friday morning - 10 days earlier than planned.
Okay - so the weather was horrendous and that didn't help, but if you had somewhere decent to sit and relax, it would have helped a little. I mean - even a chair to sit on isn't a lot to ask for! The place resembles an old Haven Holidays Camp, the bedrooms sleep four but you have to live out of your cases as there isn't enough room for your clothes (and there were only two in each of our rooms!)They were obviously designed for two single beds, or one double - but two queen size beds doesn't leave you enough room to swing a cat - and they could do with a serious update.
Oh - and forget sleep - you've no chance! This has got to be THE noisiest place I've ever stayed in, and the parents in general have absolutely no control over their kids, who have no respect for anybodies wishes.On my final night of this endurance test, I had to ask a child of about 6 years old to please stop skating up and down the corridor as it was 3.50 am!!
The only decent part of the hotel was the food - and to be fair, the staff, but the entertainers just couldn't entertain, and activities were at best limited. Unfortunately our days and evenings were spent in what can only be described as a canteen with a stage, having nowhere else as an option, apart from the reception bar of the Hotel Neptune where you had to negotiate the slippery pool area in the rain, to gain access.I believe the guests we left behind will now be basking in sunshine - well they're welcome to it - at least they might just get some rest in the day!!

excellent very clean.lifts ok except someone kept on spitting on the buttons in one scum bag.rooms ok bit packed but you only sleep there get the tv if you have kids 17 euro for a week and you get all brit channels plus cartoon network,sky movies and sports brill when your chilling from the heat.staff are excellent very polite and helpful also air con in the room back balcony door needs to be closed for it to work. the lock for the patio doors are on the end two bolts
POOLS
good except poeple reserving from 7 am,try going to the childrens village pool tere always got space so you wont miss the rays
ENTERTAINMENT
good although some was a bit ropey bingo good prizes 300 euro for a line 900 euro for a house but it is 2 euro for box or 12 euro for a strip.loads going on during the day
good hotel only down side to many poeple i would give it a 7/10 and probably wouldnt go back
p.s if you have a teenage daughter i would be careful as there were loads of hormones going round LOL :-)

we arrived in the afternoon hotel looked beautiful in reception we checked in and went to the bar outside to cool off after the drive and to get something to eat, i thought aahhhh kids there were tons of them. We ate then went to unpack, before finding are bearings this place is huge. There are nine pools you can use as the three hotels are all on the one complex, hence the hundreds of children. As you get used to the place you see why there are so many kids there. Its like butlins in the sun. i would recommend these hotels for families, but not for couples or people who want a quiet holiday. After reading some of the reviews on here i thought it sound like hell. But we all enjoyed ourselves, you make your own fun.
We hired a car so we got around the island quiet alot there are some beautiful places to visit. We couldnt fault the food they cater for every taste in the resturants, my waistline expanded with all the cakes and ice cream over the week, my daughters enjoyed everything from the food, the kids club, swimming, trampolines, bikes, padellos, bouncy castle, etc. My mum loved the peach snaps and lemonade (she drank enough of them ) lol.
We made friends with a couple who run the pub accross the road (the Queens). JJ and Sue, we even went out for drinks with them one night. if you go there say hello for us from sarah + kenny from liverpool.
Anyway back to the hotel the maid came every day apart from sunday to clean the room.
you have a tv in room with sky tv if you find the time to watch it for a small charge.
The staff are very pleasent nothing is to much trouble, if they can help you they will.
You have a card to get in to your room you also use it to work the lifts.
There is something for everyone at this complex no matter what age you are my children are 16 + 8 i never heard them say im bored once which to me means happy kids = happy adults i would love to go again with them.
while your here travel to magaluf to the water park the slides are really good as the one oppersite the hotel is only small.
There is a market on in inca its huge you need a day to get around it my daughters had there hair braided they charge 30 euros i hagled and only paid 20 for each of them.
Palma is very beautiful the cathedral is amazing to look at.
Its nice to pop down to the shops in alcudia its a nice walk about 30 mins, drive or get a taxi back or horse and cart.
Theres some lovely bars and pavement cafes here too. Anyway were back to work now and saving for our next holiday in october, dont know were to go yet but hope we have as much fun as we did here.

Too many faults to mention with this hotel, not so much the decor, its a multi storey spanish hotel, but more the staff and food - both really bad. The service in the hotel and many of the shops and restaurants on the island leaves a lot to be desired. they all treat you as a cash cow to be milked from the minute you step off the plane until the minute you get back on.
Oh and take plenty of mozzie spray as Alcudia is built on reclaimed land (swamp land) thats why there are so many canals around there draining the swamp water.
trying to think of something good to say about the place, have to get back to you in a few years while i think of something. (maybe when they sort it out) and treat people with a bit of respect!!! by the way yes i am disgruntled, me and 21 others.

To keep this brief, please dont be put off by the negative reviews. I was so scared when i read the stuff on review sites about this holiday resort.
We had a ball, the accomodation was clean and sufficient to sleep and shower in.
The food was varied and delicious, even my fussy eater never went hungry. and there are healthy options too, i managed to stay on my diet and lose weight while there.
Didnt have any problems with the lifts at all.
The pool were cleaned nightly and i never had any problems with unsupervised kids.
The kids club reps for the travel operator and hotel were fantastic.
Beach about 10 mins walk, port about 20 min walk and the old town and market were about a 30 min walk.
Staff in hotel great, constantly picking up stuff brits just left on floor/ tables. I never heard a single person even try and thank any of the staff in spanish, which i find appalling.
The only negative experience we had was when we ate OUT of the hotel. We ate out one night in the port and 8/10 of us had tummy upsets til the next day.
It did rain one day but all we did was simply pay for the TV to be put on and had a lazy day in the room which after a hectic week the kids didnt mind at all.
Go, and Go with an open mind.

we stayed in jupiter for a week in september 2006, and have no complaints at all.
it is clean, attractive, and well maimtained. the staff are quick, cheerful, polite and helpful. the rooms are clean. we had two double beds in our room - something i've never seen before on a package holiday. the evening entertainment is varied. some good, some you could take or leave, and there's the bingo twice a day. loads of things in the complex to do and competitions to join in all day. children, teenagers and adults each have there own clubs. we had no trouble getting sunbeds, we weren't fussy where we sat. with nine pools and then games, who cares? we had no trouble with lifts, and if we asked the cleaner for towels we got them. the food is good. there are up to ten different menus for the evening meals, so no need to eat repetitvely. five menus at lunch besides the brilliant snack bars and fruit bars. no queues at the drinks bar because no time is taken up charging. kids and adults can help themselves to soft drinks and water.
the grounds are pretty. the icecream is to die for. you get nothing like it here.
the beach is nice, not crowded at all. the hotel bus runs free every 30 minutes up to 5pm, or it's a 10-15 minute very attractive walk along the canal. we found the drinks outside the complex expensive.
we liked it so much, as soon as we arrived home we booked up to take some of our young families there next may. our kids will behave, and we will clear our rubbish away into the numerous bins provided for the purpose.
the only downside to this complex is the way the brits sometimes behave. we found nothing to moan about.

we stayed here in september 2006
the good things about club mac jupiter hotel - there are about 8 lifts. the staff are positively polite, cheerful and helpful. it's kept very clean both upstairs and in the public areas. the food is excellent, with a wide variety of choice every mealtime. up to ten menus at night for the main course, five at lunch time. the deserts and salads are good. there are bar snacks of burgers, hotdogs, kebabs and chips, and big baskets of fruit all day. you can eat and drink 24 hours a day. the kids can help themselves to soft drinks and water.
the 9 pools and surrounding area are well maintained. information easily accessible, with games and entertainment all day and up to 11pm.
the bar queues go down very quickly, no paying holdups! and they do queue in line so everyone is served fairly.
the bedroom we occupied had two double beds and two comfortable armchairs - something i have not seen in other holiday hotels. nice balcony with a lovely view but small.
we enjoyed it so much that we are going again next may - with our family and a couple of children, who WILL be supervised. and we WILL put our rubbish in the many bins provided.
the only downfall was the noise downstairs, which we got used to and we stopped hearing it on the second day. we found it quiet upstairs on the seventh floor.
we can't wait for next may. i recommend this to any family. please dispose of your plastic containers and cups yourself.

well to start with we read the reviews on here before we went so had an idea what was in store!
firstly our journey out was delayed then on arrival we waited an hour for our baggage-believe it or not some people waited 4 hours!!!!.anyway got to hotel-we had been put in the saturno so went to check in,it was now midnight and there was a boy on reception alone dealing with a long line of tired and irritable people-half an hour later we checked in and went to find our room-now things do go down hill-we waited for the lift with all our luggage ,3 lifts by the way-1 not working the other 2 do what they like! half an hour later we get to the 5th floor and the corridors obviosly hadnt been decorated for 30 years or so-we looked at each other and opened our door-my god what a shock-the room was tiny and basic and the bathroom was awfull-sockets hanging of walls,missing tiles and dirty as hell!!!
anyway we were so tired we went to sleep-nowhere for bens cot though so he slept in the next bed! the next day was sunny so went down for breakfast-not bad-you can usually find something to eat-which was the case all week really,some nights they had good carverys on too but a lot of the food was repetative and not nice! we headed for the pool and found some beds-it does get busy and we found some people were getting up at the crack of dawn to get a place!-we planned tistrip out of school holidays to try and avoid it being busy but this wasnt the case-kids everywhere!
the sun,mon,tues,wed,went ok then thurs the thunder storms hit and things turned into a nightmare-up untill now although it was busy people were spread out over the complex but due to the storms everyone was concentrated in side and it was terrible,kids running wild-teenagers getting drunk,you couldnt walk anywhere it was crammed and this went on through friday too but lucky for us on sat the sun came back but we were going home!
to sum up-its cheap, food not bad, accomodation poor-saturno anyway-no where near a 3 star, alcudia itself is nice especially the port area and would probably return but never to jupiter saturno even if you paid me!
and to finsh the graffiti on the back of a toilet door said it all really-it read "everyone at this hotel are council estate chavs" and how true that was! good luck.

weve just got back on the 19/09/2006 from staying at the saturno hotel one of the 3 hotels on the complex and have got to say we found it to big and a little unpersonalised but there was a lot of people there ,we worked out on average 160 rooms in each hotel x3 a lot of people but generally speaking the hotels were quite good ,The saturno i would say was the most one needing to be updated .The jupiter was the most updated then The marte .
we found that there didnt seem to be that much going on for the children especially the older kids i felt that they only thing my older boy did was playing pool every night which you had to pay for .The room we had was on the 9th floor and the lifts could be a pain at busy times and we found the kids were going in and pressing the buttons to stop at every floor very annoying,also one day when we had got in the lift someone had kindly kicked the mirror in and it was smashed on the floor. I reported it to the reception it had been taped up when we went back in later on .When we left on tuesday this hadnt been replaced i cant believe that theres idiots that have to do these things to other people's property.We went to the waterpark opposite the hotel saturno on the monday and really enjoyed it ,we came out at lunchtime and went back in after ,they stamp your hand.
Overall we enjoyed are time hear but personally wouldnt return in a hurry.Generally speaking we think the resorts needing some overall maintenance to bring it up to a higher quality the lakes and kids area at the bottom definetely needs improving.Finally i would say the food is good in the restaurants but the snacks throughout the day get a bit boring chips with everything i think we wont want to see them for a while ha ha.

We have just returned from the worst holiday of our life. This is not with disrespect to the staff, who staff were constantly trying to clean the hotel from the clientelle who seemed to trash it every evening.
This all inclusive hotel is like a holiday camp mixed with a Workingmen's Club.
If you are a couple do not go to this hotel. This hotel is for large familys only.
Our sleep every night was disturbed with drunks outside, people skinny-dipping at 5am, couples arguing, and children playing football in the corridors! There need not be any walls up, as they are wafer thin and you can hear EVERYTHING.
There were two free buses, which were useful, one to the beach and one to the port on an evening. Take advantage of the evening and escape the chaos.
If you like a quiet holiday, and have well behaved children this hotel is not for you.
We saw entertainment two nights, and it was good, from what we have experienced at other hotels, but we couldn't stand the bedlam in the hotel anymore, and escaped to the bars nearby!
Upon return we have checked their website, the reason the hotel is overrun by children, children are free in September. Don't bother paying your taxes to pay for schools, all the children are in Majorca and at this hotel!

once we arrived at the hotel jupiter it was bigger than expected.at first the all inclusive idea was very appealing but after 1 week it started to wear very thin. the menu in the restuarant was very repetitive and sometimes it was hard to find a choice that hadnt been on the menu two days ago.
we headed out the hotel for the last week to get some food that we would enjoy. the staff at the comlex are very friendly but its the holiday makers that make this hotel a litter hazzard. drinks and litter all over the the place and you could see the disgusted lok on the poor staff who had to clean up after all the british tourists (so shameful).
this would be great for a weeks holiday but two weeks it was getting a bore and i was finding that quite a lot of guests were going out for some entertainment.
the weather was hot apart from two days of overcast and a monsoon of heavy rain was had thunder and lighting to adfd.
the beach was excellent and so was the waterpark next door. (enjoy)

just returned from a two week break at club mac in alcudia. As it was our first holiday abroad we were pretty terrified after reading the reports on here about the complex. But we all reallly enjoyed ourselves.
I won't lie to you. We arrived on Saturday at about mid-day, checked in but was told our room wasn't ready. This wasn't too pleasing as we were all tired. Went back to reception about half hour later and got our key card. Went to the room and was pleased with the size. Nothing elaborate but comfortable. The 2nd week they were offering an upgrade to family accomodation. I would definetly recomend trying to get a family suite as the space is much more appealing.
The food as previously mentioned was a bit repetative but with so many mouths to feed there was more than enough to go around. I would reccomend to use the show cooking area. You know for definite that the food is cooked freshly. If you like pork you will love the food. DONT TOUCH THE MUSHROOMS UNLESS YOU LIKE MUSHROOMS NOT TO TASTE LIKE MUSHROOMS. We found that the childrens section never had a lot to offer, so our daughter lived on salad, crisps and yoghurt most of the fortnight. (she didn't complain).
The pools were very clean both in and around and i also noticed that from about 6am the staff were jet washing most of the paths. Gardens were immaculately kept, rubbish was to a minimum apart from after the evening entertainment. But most of that was through no fault of the cleaning staff but some lazy holiday makers who couldnt be bothered to take their rubbish to the bins. The cleaners had more than enough to do.
The maids were excellent. The one that done our floor (3) (vero was her name) was excellent. I urge anyone if they are happy with the service of the maid to leave a tip at the end of their stay.
We were all ill with sickness and diahhorea but all we could put that down to was the water. DO NOT USE THE ICE CREAM SCOOPS IN THE RESTAURANT. USE THE SPOONS INSTEAD!!!. The illnesses only lasted one day and didn't really interrupt our holiday.
Entertainment spot on. Bingo wicked. Great prize money. Alcohol runs freely but we didn't see any one take advantage to the point that they were 'typical british lager louts'.
All in all a great holiday. Would definetly recomend to anyone with children of all ages. We will be going back in a couple of years but hiring a car next time as there was so much to do on the island but unless paying out for coach trips there wasn't a lot you could do.
Excellent all round. Club mac. We will be back.

we stayed at the saturn in august there was nothing for my daughter to do she was so feed up all the other teenagers were useing foul language well there parents just left them to get on with it .
food was very much the same every night .
Room was very poor and basic.

After reading the reviews before we went we didnt know what to expect. On arriving are first inpression was that the complex was very clean and looked very nice' the rooms were cleaned every day, and there were always cleaners on the go in and around the hotel. what we did find that the holiday makers had little respect for the hotel,i.e. dropping food and rubbish, there was no need for this as plenty of bins were provided (shame on you)it made us ashamed to be british, we also found that a lot of the parents allowed there kids to run riot, as long as they were boozing didnt matter what the kids were doing, espeically in the evening and late at night running round the corridors and getting woken up.It was a very noisy hotel and the entertainment was not very good ok if you have kids, but nothing for teenagers, so ours was bored in the evening, we counted 9 pools which were always clean but too jam packed sardines come to mind so we would often go to the beach which is great a sunbed would cost 3 euros and a free bus took you there but you could walk it.
The food was excellent plenty of choice you would never go hungry as food was available from 8am till midnight ther were picnics available but only if you booked an outing with the hotel. We did book one trip what a rip of it was for the inca market which is a nice place to go but it cost 20 euros each it was half an hour away and we only had 2 hours there,not enought time as the market was huge. If you like markets go to the old town on a tuesday its about half an hours walk or 4 euoros by taxi well worth it be carefull they do try to rip you of with very high prices but barter them down which is fun.
Would we go again: probebly not too noisy. too packed, have been to better hotels.Not a bad hotel overall if you have young children.But Alcudia is a lovley place to visit.

Our first comment is do not book with Fleetway travel we booked 9 months in advance and less than 3 weeks before departure they wrote to say they were going to change our resort. Under their terms and conditions we refused and asked for a refund on the phone many times, by email and letter. They effectively refused and after a week said they had managed to get another room from another operator. All very stressful and took the edge off looking forward to our holiday.
First impressions of the hotel were not accurate for us. On arrival we found the Saturno poolside littered with cups and the tables by the pool sticky. (all of them) We soon realised this was not the hotels fault, its a combination of it being the coolest/windiest part of the complex and the brits being lazy. The staff were doing their best.
The room was clean and well-maintained. The food was out of this world. Only negatives were that we thought the boats on the lake were inclusive (at approx £6 per session when you have 3 kids it's not cheap) and that the evening entertainment was sometimes misleading. They had posters in the foyer apparently advertising visiting acts, when you went out early to get a table and waited with anticipation it was a great disappointment when it was just the hotel's staff who weren't great with their circus performance.
You will have a great time. Very good hotel, rooms great, food great.

We have just returned from a two week All inclusive holiday at the Hotel Jupiter. May I add first of all that the entertainment and all hotel staff are excellent, they work so hard to entertain, keep clean and help you whilst you are staying there, which must have been such a very hard job. It was over crowed and we had to get up before 7am to secure a place by the small baby pool. The rooms are small and basic but you dont spend must time in them, they were tidied not cleaned daily and we had fresh towels daily.
The biggest down fall at this hotel were those guests that allowed themselves and their children to selfishly be noisey and extremely rude. You can hear everything in these rooms and the corridors were a constant noise of drunks and loud familes comming to bed at all hours most nights I heard familes shouting and banging doors until 5am!and this is whilst wearing ear plugs. Teenagers where permitted to hang around getting drunk and in our experience making a nuisense of themselves,we heard stories of children being left alone whilst parents left the complex or were drinking until all hours, and the mess that people made was completely unbelievable I would hate to see the state of their homes.
All in all our children had a fantastic time(age 4 and 2) all due to the club mac entertainment staff they worked day and night to keep guests happy.However I would not return to the Hotel Jupiter not because of the complex or the rooms or the staff but because of the people staying there.
The facilities at the complex are exceptional and the food was fine a bit repative towards the end of our 2 weeks but always fresh and clean and considering the resturant holds 780 people I feel they staff do a great job.
All in all do not go here if you are looking for a relaxing quiet holiday. If you like drinking and your children can still up until anytime that suits you and you love Butlins then this is the holiday for you.
Just as an extra note do not leave anything around the pool we had stuff stolen and heard of guest having money and other stuff taken to.

well what can i say about this hotel
set in a large complex a bit like butlins with three hotels all of which you could use. set around a lake which did attract the moggys so take plenty of repellent.
it was clean and the rooms were cleaned daily
the staff worked realy hard to keep it that way, but the guests treated it with utter disrespect food on the floor emptey cups and ciggys, it made me ashamed to be british shame on them. there was no need for this, as plenty of bins were dotted all over the complex.the food was very good but got a bit bored with it by the second week. you would never be hungrey as food was available from 8 in the morning till midnight.
the entertainment for the kids were good but as we had a teenager with us he found it boring,nothing for them to do in the evening adult entertainment was just about non exsistent,apart from the usual boring bingo.
we counted 9 pools but they were very packed we know how a sardine feels, we managed to get a sunbed when we wanted one, but just to get to the pool or go for a drink, was a bind as there were to many beds set close together even the walk ways were choka, so we found ourselves going to the beach more, the sunbeds were 3 euros each to higher but it was worth it just for a bit of peace.
dont go on the inca market trip set by the tour operators, its a rip of, they charged 20 euros each for a short bus ride and we only had 2 hours there not enougth time to get round, be carefull if you do go,the stall holders try to rip you of with over priced items but the bartering was fun.
the old town is a better bet for a market, set in a castle and only a twenty minute walk away, or 4 euros by taxi, if you dont want to walk. we enjoyed this a lot. would do it again.
this hotel was the loudest hotel we have ever been to, with all the unruly kids doing what they want while the so called parents were getting drunk.
the beach was a short walk away but a free bus was provided.
we have been to alcudia 4 times now. over all we did enjoy the holiday but we would not choose this hotel again. dont be put off going to alcudia as it is a very nice place to go. would choose a non family hotel next time or a smaller hotel as the noise levles were just to much.

Arived early hours of Sunday Morning, first impressions good, had booked family room for my 5 a little small for what I expected but adequate, clean, tidy, 2 balconys, 2 TV's no bath just a shower although this did not cause a problem.
The hotel had everything that the brochure said. Lots of entertainment througout the day and evening through to around 11.00pm. Main bars open until midnight food available 24 hrs and for first choice customers there was a bar open until around 5am in the morning (not quite 24hrs but I didn't think the early closing was a problem all my group had had more than enough by then).99% of the staff were pleasant and helpful and attempting to keep everything clean and tidy all day and night.This is a big complex with a lot of people the staff did well.
Ideal groups, and families not for a quiet peaceful holiday, elder couples (no kids) and the romantics think twice!
Although on the edge of the resort everything outside of the complex, beech, shops and bars if you wanted to wander were no more than 10 mins walk away.
I noted some people have in the past moaned about geeting sunbeds, this was never a problem for us and our group was of 20 people.
First Choice reps were very accessible and Helpful.

My/Our Holiday Opinion:
We visieted this complex 5 years ago for 1 wk and had a really good time, entertainment was very good, food fine with no problems. We have just arrived home on the 31st august and i would not go back again even if it was free. It is like a giant childrens club except there is no body looking after them.
